Do you provide a guide?

Yes, our guides will transfer you throughout your stay. Our guides are all locals who are very passionate about showing our beautiful country to all visitors. They will provide you with knowledge, the history and show you the hidden gems.

Will you customize my tour?

Are you taking tours for the Americas Cup?

We would love to create a tailor-made luxury tour based around your needs for the Americas Cup time, whether you are looking for a tour in between races or a transfer from the airport we are here to help.

Is accommodation included in the tour?

Yes, once we have worked with you on your itinerary, we will price everything up and add that to the quote. We have contacts throughout the country that will allow you to stay at some of the most prestigious luxury lodges and 5-star hotels, if you are looking for something a bit more homely and true New Zealand style, we can also organise that.

How many people can go on a tour?

Mai Travel specialize in small private groups so you can enjoy the intimate moments, for larger families or special groups we also cater for all needs.

When is the best time to visit New Zealand?

All year long, every season is just as beautiful in different parts of New Zealand. However, if you are wanting warm weather then October (spring) until April is our warmest period. For the snow and those that love winter from the beginning of June until end of September is the perfect time.

Will I see snow In New Zealand?

If you are planning on heading to New Zealand in June – September then there is a high chance we can take you to see the snow. The central North Island of New Zealand has Mount Ruapehu with three summits for skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing – Turoa, Tukino and Whakapapa. In the South Island there are various places you can see the snow with the most popular area for snow activities being Queenstown- the Remarkables Peak and Coronet Peak.
